VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED! |
|
The Society is currently finding it extremely difficult to cope with the rapidly expanding amount of information that is now being made available to it. In fact it’s becoming increasingly evident that, without a considerable increase in the number of volunteers, the publication on the website of much important new data could be delayed by many years. If you live in or near London and think that you may be able to help by spending a day at the National Archives in Kew with other volunteers from the Society, please contact us. Assistance is also needed from people at home to transcribe old books and documents or to collect information from various websites. If you can help with this, please contact Roy Rayment or Sylvia Bailey. Help is particularly needed from members with a knowledge of HTML, CGI scripting or data processing. If you think that you may be able to help with any of this, Roy Rayment will be delighted to hear from you! |
